SixtyFour Music puts the ‘power’ in ‘ballad’ in the wonderfully brilliant Pets at Home commercial

Cute pets and Meatloaf, what’s not to love? Yes, the new Pets at Home commercial is a cinematic tidal wave of cuteness, all scored to the 1993 power ballad classic ‘I’d Do Anything For Love  (But I Won’t Do That)’. The charming and hilarious film showcases just how much we all love our pets and how we really would do anything for them. Making the song choice a match made in heaven that adds a lot of personality and comedy to the piece.

“Like all legacy copyrights.. you’re dealing with something special, and you need to approach them with the respect they deserve, while ensuring your client has everything they want covered too. It’s a delicate dance but extremely satisfying when the fruits of your labour come through, and all parties are happy with the results. This was a pleasure to work on and the track works so well for the brand and the creative...a match made in heaven. We’re thrilled to have helped them get it over the line.” - Anne Booty: Head of Film + TV | Music Supervisor at SixtyFour Music
