The Sync Agency provide Music Supervision for charming new McDonald’s Spots

It’s definitely a confidence game and these kids have bags of it.

The Sync Agency provided Music Supervision for this charming new McDonald’s spot promoting the new Fun Football scheme from McDonald’s which aims to get children active, make friends and gain even more confidence.

The spot directed by Guy Manwaring at Merman, has the kids showing off their fancy footwork to the classic track ‘Chelsea Dagger’ by The Fratellis.

Dan Dunbar, Creative Director of The Sync Agency, said ‘We really enjoyed working on this project! We explored tracks from a range of genres and eras, and Chelsea Dagger ticked both the ‘Fun’ and ‘Football’ boxes. The chant and beat gives the track a classic sports anthem feel, and it provided a great energy to compliment the action, combined with a playfulness that fitted well with the spirit of the campaign. We love working with the team over at Leos too, so that was great!’

There’s nothing quite like a McDelivery, the excitement of tracking your order, waiting with anticipation as the delivery arrives outside your house. The thrill of being able to enjoy a Big Mac in the comfort of your own home without having to feel guilty about those extra pickles. There’s an art form to eating McDonald’s from freaky fries and milkshake dippers, to condiment collectors and lettuce nibblers we all have our own way of enjoying McDonald’s. The commercial celebrates this in a light-hearted comic fashion cutting back and forth to different households.

Sync Agency provided the music supervision, adding Tiffany’s 80s pop gem ‘I Think We're Alone Now’ to the spot. The song perfectly captures the light-hearted comical tone of the piece capturing the fuzzy warm feeling we all get when we get our Happy Meal and toy.
